This mentorship is designed to provide students with an overview of the components that help craft a visual identity of a brand. Students will have the opportunity to create digital works of art and design ranging from digital illustration to core marks/logos for a brand of their own creation! The mentor shares real-world projects and walks the students through the two phases of creating a visual representation: Directional mood-boards and logo sketches. Students will develop design skills by participating in multiple in-class practice assignments as well as guided-learning work sessions and engaging in thoughtful and reflective critiques. Students will create core marks/logo for their personal inspired brand as the final project of the mentorship.

Dates: Wednesday, 12/8/2021; Friday. 12/10/2021; and, Monday 12/13/2021.
