Are you ready to travel the world? In this class, we’ll journey to Greece with our friend, Ilias. We’ll visit historical sites and learn about daily life in Athens. We’ll also travel to one or two other countries for visits to markets and/or important landmarks. Possible stops include Italy, India, Iceland, Oman, Sweden, and Czechia/Prague.

Each trip will have a focus that was pre-determined by the children’s interests and curiosities. On each trip, an expert traveler and researcher from Atlas Workshops along with a local guide/leader will introduce the children to the focus of the trip. The children’s questions shared on the spot will direct the time spent exploring that focus together.

Atlas Workshops partners with schools and communities around the world. In this program, we are offering Pono summer campers the opportunity to take a trip each week to meet our local leaders in different countries.
