Art and Storytelling, with Maya Sassoon
In this class, Maya Sassoon leads art projects that are informed by a short art history lesson and incorporate a creative writing element. Children will get the opportunity to work with Maya on portraits, collage, still life, concept art, design, and abstract art.
Maya Sassoon graduated from the Tulane School of Architecture in New Orleans with a masters degree in architecture. She has worked as an art director primarily in scenic and experiential design and has taught early childhood classes. She has a passion for art education and teaching.
Day/Time: Fridays, 9:30-10:30 am Eastern Time
