Gods, heroes, and monsters... The Greek myths are timeless tales that continue to inspire and entertain children and adults alike. In this class, students will hear stories about the Greek mythological world and they will learn about the culture that produced them.

Dr. Young Richard Kim is associate professor of Classics and Mediterranean Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He first learned about Greek mythology in fourth grade, and ever since then, he has been fascinated by the ancient Mediterranean world of the Greeks and the Romans.
