Knights in Shining Armor, with Meglena Zapreva
Knights in Shining Armor, with Meglena Zapreva
We are going to learn what it means to be a knight and what knights did in the Middle Ages, how they lived, and how they were connected to kings, queens, and peasants. Children will read books, look at art from the Middle Ages, and construct special knight armor.
Meglena Zapreva is an artist and a museum educator, who presently teaches science and technology at The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine, and trains teachers to integrate curriculum. Following her passion for art history, she teaches history to young people in the most colorful and engaging way possible.
