Children will explore different methods of using fabrics to create wearable art such as tie dye, hand printing with organic shapes, drawing, draping and cutting, weaving a fabric to hand sew, crocheting a shape, hand printing fabrics, and cutting and reshaping an existing garment. Each project will give the student a basic foundation in handling materials and an understanding for future development.
