Many New York City parents are torn between sending their children back to school and risk their safety or keeping them safe at home but limiting their interactions with peers to virtual classes. we are here to help keep your child safely engaged in the world in the midst of a pandemic.

Pono is offering the best of its experience in outdoor education to NYC families. We bring Children Ages 6 to 14 from different City locations to our partner sanctuary. children explore the mature forest, streams, and woodland with environmental educators while developing a deeper connection and engagement with nature and our environment.

Our safety measure on our buses and at the sanctuary adhere to the advice of public health experts and is in compliance with New York State’s guidelines for reopening schools. read below about our student pods.
