This class will introduce students to hip hop basics, while developing their rhythm, balance, coordination, and strength. Students will learn fun warm-up exercises, funky dances, and develop their individual creative expression.   

Lyndsay Dru Corbett is from Colorful Colorado, where she began dancing & performing at age six. After studying in London, Lyndsay continued her passion for immersive theatre in NYC, working for Punchdrunk Theatre Company’s Sleep No More. She received her MFA in acting from The New School for Drama and has performed/choreographed throughout New York. Currently, she is a teaching artist for Wingspan Arts and Brooklyn College Preparatory Center for the Performing Arts.  She also creates and performs as a founding company artist/assistant director with Gotham Dance Theater.
