Do you like playing and making your own games? In this class we will use household items and our imagination to play a few games and then invent some new ones. We will learn that games are systems made out of things like mechanics, rules, objects, and stories. By the end of the class, students will have a new game they can play with their friends and family. 

Chloe Varelidi is an award-winning play designer based out of Washington, DC. She has taught game design to children (and grownups) around the world for more than 10 years and is currently working on her own super silly toy called Follies.
