Problem-Solving Around the World, with Amrita Kumar

$0.00

In this class, you will learn about different problems from around the world, both from history and today. We’ll talk about problems such as sewage in London in the early 1900s, drought in Africa, or controlling governments. Every week, you will come up with and draw your own inventions to solve these problems. Your solutions could be as complicated as lasers, or as simple as peace treaties. Then, you will learn about real-life solutions or possible solutions! This class will teach not only about history and current events, but also about science and engineering. Plus, it will tap into your creativity and help you think a lot about the world!

Amrita is 10 years old and has attended Pono in the summer. She loves to travel, read, run around, and do photography. She has traveled to 16 countries and wants to teach this class so kids can learn about the world that they're living in, and have fun doing it.
